a message from the club
In 2024, we had the honor of hosting Hinesville’s very first Hispanic Heritage Festival, an event that introduced thousands to the beauty of our culture. The success of this festival marked the beginning of what we hope will be an annual tradition, and for many, it may have been their first encounter with the contributions we’ve made to our community. We are incredibly proud of the festival’s impact, and we are humbled by the opportunity to share the richness of our culture with such a wide audience. But this festival is just one part of our ongoing efforts.
At the heart of the Hispanic Heritage Club of Hinesville is a deep commitment to helping our community. From collecting and shipping emergency supplies to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, organizing a memorial service honoring the sacrifices of our latino airmen, to supporting local families devastated by floods and other natural disasters, we take pride in being a reliable source of assistance. It is a privilege to be a consistent presence of compassion, and we hope to remain a strong pillar of support for our community and surrounding neighbors in Liberty County.
Our involvement in the community doesn’t end with these initiatives. Throughout the year, we actively celebrate the diverse cultural fabric that makes Hinesville unique. Whether it’s participating in the Small World Festivals or earning recognition for our floats in the Liberty Chamber Christmas Parades, we are proud to showcase the diversity that defines us. Yet, our work reaches beyond these festive moments, as we strive to make a lasting positive impact in our area.
Our Folkloric Dance Program plays a key role in this mission, allowing us to share our culture with a broader audience across the Lowcountry. Our dancers have performed at major events, including the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and even contributed to university lectures in arts and musicology, spreading awareness and appreciation of Hispanic traditions wherever they go. Through their performances, we continue to honor the beauty and history of our culture.
Each year, we continue to respond to the needs of our community—whether it’s bringing holiday joy to unprivileged children at foster homes, organizing drives to help victims of natural disasters, or simply providing support when it’s needed most. We are proud of the difference we make, but we know that our work is ongoing and there is always more to be done.
We invite you to join us in continuing this important mission. Your support—through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer work—helps us strengthen our community and further our shared commitment to culture, compassion, and action. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
Thank you for being a part of our journey.
Kindly yours,
